Lady Williams Apples

Lady Williams Apples are tart tasting when eaten early in the season, with the sweeter flavours developing as the season progresses. The texture is firm and crisp and the Lady Williams apple is bright pink-red with stripe over the surface. The Lady Williams is delicious in salads and for snacking on over spring and summer.

Lady Williams apples were cultivated from a chance seedling in Donnybrook, Western Australia in the 1930’s and are believed to be a cross between the Rokewood and Granny Smith varieties.

The Lady Williams is usually medium in size and will keep well and is available between November and February in Australia.
