Easter is usually all about chocolate, chocolate, and more chocolate. Oh, and don’t forget the hot cross buns lathered in butter as well. With all this tempting food around, it can make it pretty tricky if you want to stay on the straight and narrow and not fall off the healthy eating wagon.

With this hot Queensland weather lingering about, my kids still love to chill in the afternoon with a cold ice block. Like most kids, they love their fruit, but getting them to eat their vegetables is a little trickier. So I was really excited to try these three ice block recipes created by Emily Dixon for Super Healthy Kids, using both fruit AND vegetables. You heard right…fruit AND vegetables.
